Renault Trucks will be exhibiting at the Hanover IAA show from 20 to 27 September in Hall 17 on Stand N° 21. In particular, there will be a preview of the manufacturer's technology chosen and developed to comply with the Euro VI standard due to be introduced in 2014.

1A pioneer in fuel saving technologies, the manufacturer will also be presenting all its solutions designed to help hauliers reduce their operating costs related to consumption. Under the All For Fuel Eco banner, Renault Trucks will be presenting a number of different vehicles, including the very latest version of its Premium Optifuel, the rigid version of the OptiTrack system for vehicles in the Construction range on a Premium Lander, a Midlum Optifuel pack, and a Master Euro V with optimised consumption. Furthermore, It will be exhibiting all its alternative solutions with a Maxity Electric, a Premium Distribution running on CNG and a Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech. The manufacturer will also be displaying an experimental Midlum electric currently undergoing tests in the Paris region. More than ever before, Renault Trucks is showing its determination to meet the challenge of road transport by offering to supply its customers with the right truck, using the right energy, in the right place.

On the stand, "Fuel Eco" simulators will enable visitors to become aware of the gains that can be made by reducing fuel consumption. Each player, driving a truck, has to deliver goods on time, using as little fuel as possible. The winner is the one who achieves the best journey time with the lowest consumption.

As a manufacturer looking towards the future, Renault Trucks will also be presenting a new three-dimensional design of a long distance vehicle optimized for consumption. Created by the Halle du Design teams, this is the result of thinking about the possibilities of making a truck even more efficient without having to take manufacturing considerations into account. An objective achieved by making a certain number of choices relating to technology, materials and innovation governed by aerodynamics. This futuristic truck is designed to put the manufacturer on a long-term track in its research into how fuel consumption can be further reduced.

Finally, trucks always excite a great deal of enthusiasm. This is why Renault Trucks has set aside a special area devoted to enthusiasts with one of the MKR Technology team racing trucks, simulators to give visitors the chance of trying their hand as a racing driver, the possibility of joining the Renault Trucks Truck Driver Club and a boutique for loyal brand fans.
